14 farms join Washington County Fiber Tour

Visitors can meet farmers and their animals, including alpacas, rabbits, goats, llamas and sheep and lambs and learn about livestock and pets during the 24th annual Washington County Fiber Tour  Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fourteen farms are taking part in the free event which includes  spinning, knitting, weaving and felting demonstrations.
Visitors can shop for handspun and dyed yarns, unique woven and knitted items, high-quality fleeces and cuts of lamb.
