Atrial fibrillation: Stroke Prevention and Treatment Options will be the topic of discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn, Sage Rooms, 235 Hoosick St., Troy.
Patients with atrial fibrillation have a higher risk of stroke. At the free seminar, learn about the connection between afib and stroke, stroke prevention strategies and therapies for stroke prevention. Speaker is Alfonso Prieto, M.D., Albany Associates in Cardiology, St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates.
