Author to discuss food and philosophy
Raymond D. Boisvert, professor at Siena College, discusses his new book, “Philosophers at Table: On Food and Being Human,” and the philosophically charged act of eating on Wednesday, March 23, at
7 p.m. at the Guilderland Public Library, 2228 Western Ave., Guilderland.
The question of eating is dense with complex meanings and roles that food has played over the centuries.
Dr. Boisvert is also author of “I Eat, Therefore I Think.”
