Bethlehem First Night celebrates New Year’s Eve
First Night Bethlehem kicks off Dec. 31 with fireworks at 6:30 p.m. at the Four Corners,
Delaware Avenue at Kenwood Avenue,
Delmar. The New Year’s Eve celebration includes live entertainment and family activities at several venues from 7 to 10 p.m. A Battle of the High School Bands takes place from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Bethlehem Town Hall, 445 Delaware Ave., Delmar.
Live ice sculptures by The Iceman will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Four Corners Marketplace. Dog House will offer rock from 7 to 10 p.m. inside the marketplace.
Face painting upstairs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Playin’ with Fire — acoustic rock, from 7 to 10 p.m., downstairs, at the Delmar Fire House, 145 Adams St.
Delmar Community Orchestra and Old Time Dance Band play from 8 to 10 p.m. in the sanctuary, and Raisinhead rocks in the fellowship hall, at the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave. Crafts for kids will be offered in the church’s Bennett Parlor.
Children’s activities, jazz, kosher food festival and Menorah lighting will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. at the new location of the Bethlehem Chabad, 393 Delaware Ave.
The Mendelssohn Club choral group will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. in the sanctuary; Skip Parsons will offer Dixieland favorites from 7 to 10 p.m. in the fellowship hall, and Stellar Face and Body Art will be in the lounge of the First United Methodist Church, 482 Kenwood Ave.
Broadway Bound performs from 7 to 10 p.m. upstairs at the Masonic Lodge, 421 Kenwood Ave; Andy the Music Man and Hula-hoops will be downstairs from 7 to 10 p.m.

Proceeds benefit Bethlehem charities through Bethlehem Community Fund, helping neighbors in need.
