Bird watching events at Dyken Pond

Two events for bird enthusiasts are planned at Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center, Rensselaer County. A bird walk, sponsored by Hudson-Mohawk Bird Club, is planned  Saturday, June 7, 8a.m. to noon.
A birding for beginners walk will be held Sunday, June 29, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Come learn about at least 10 different birds  throughout Dyken Pond Center’s trail systems and wetlands. Learn to identify birds by sight and sound. Binoculars will be provided for those who do not have their own pair. This event is free and for all bird enthusiasts.

Dyken Pond Environmental Education Center is located at
475 Dyken Pond Road,
Cropseyville.
