Bronck Museum highlights corn plant history

“Corn from Cob to Cake,” a program exploring the  uses of the corn plant on the early American farm, will be offered Sunday, Aug. 9,  at the Bronck Museum, County Route 42, Coxsackie.

Visitors can take a turn at husking, shelling, and pounding corn and enjoy traditional refreshments made with corn meal. Special content tours will be at 1 and 3 p.m.

Admission is $7, $3.50 for Greene County Historical Society members and children.
