Celebrate summer solstice on Rail Trail
Join the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy and Friends of the Rail Trail Committee for the third annual Summer Solstice Celebration on Sunday, June 22, from noon to 3 p.m. on the Bethlehem portion of the Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail between Adams Street and the Slingerlands Firehouse, or the Voorheesville section beginning at Main and Grove streets.
Events are free to the public.
Listen to musicians, watch artists and performers, enjoy kids’ activities, sample tasty food, learn more about local businesses and enjoy the beauty of one of Albany County’s most unique nature spots. The Helderberg Hudson Rail Trail is a nine-mile stretch of an old D&H rail line running from Voorheesville to the Port of Albany. More than four miles are currently open for public use.
