Cidery, brewery celebrate first anniversary

Celebrate the first anniversary  in operation as a cidery and brewery, on May 6,  at Indian Ladder Farmstead Cider and Brewery, 342 Altamont Road, Altamont.

Live music in the biergarten with Chris Dukes Band and The College Farm will be featured as well as a Crosby Farm Pig Roast.

We’re also celebrating the can release of the second beer in our Hop Master series, Dr. Paul Matthews IPA. Enjoy a live remote with Kim from WEQX in the Baby Animal Barn.

Beer and hard cider are made with apples, hops and barley grown on the farm. Visit http://www.ilfeb.com or call 518-655-0108.

Also, May 5 to May 21, Indian Ladder Farms offers its 21st annual Baby Animal Days featuring chicks, turkey poults, ducklings, goslings, bunnies, kid goats, lambs, piglets and calves. Come see, pet and learn about baby farm animals. Admission is $6 per child.

The farm market is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Yellow Rock Cafe is open weekdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., weekends 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cidery and brewery are open Thursdays and Fridays, 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sundays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
