Cobleskill gets animated with poetry, films

Come celebrate SUNY Cobleskill’s Spring 2014 Cultural Arts Series with ”Pometrics: Animated Short Films & Poetry,” a group of short films inspired by poetry from London-based onedotzero, on Tuesday, March 25,  at 7:30 p.m. in the campus Bouck Auditorium, 106 Suffolk Circle, Cobleskill.

The program features a variety of  beautiful works, from live action to animation via motion graphics,  showing the combined power of moving image and poetry.

The series concludes Thursday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., featuring violinist Leo Milman and a band of guest artists. The “Serenading Strings: A Kaleidoscope of Music” experience will showcase world-class music.

Admission is free, donations are accepted.
