Colonie Harvest Fest at The Crossings

The Town of Colonie is hosting its annual Harvest Festival on Sunday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Crossings, 580 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville.

At Colonie’s largest free, town-wide event, representatives from the Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center will host interactive events. Vendors from the Colonie Farmers Market and new craft vendors, plus  magic and puppet shows, pony rides and an appearance from the Albany Police Department horses will be featured. Clowns will craft balloon animals for all ages.

This year ‘s sponsors include Capital Region Landfill Inc., County Waste and Recycling, Berkshire Bank and CDPHP.

Christian Brothers Academy, South Colonie High School and Shaker High School will provide student volunteers. A shuttle on the premises will drive patrons to the park’s front entrance, provided by Colonie Senior Service Centers.
