Crailo Historic Site opens for season

Learn about the region’s Dutch past and the legacy of those early settlers at Crailo State Historic Site, 91/2 Riverside Ave., Rensselaer, on Wednesday, May 13, when the site opens for the tour season.

Through Oct. 31, Crailo will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with tours  on the hour.

Admission is $5, $4 for seniors and students, free for children 12 and younger.

Crailo State Historic Site, once the Van Rensselaer family’s fortified home,  is the museum of the colonial Dutch in the Hudson River Valley.
