Dog care classes offered in Schaghticoke

 Dog care classes will be offered starting April 26, 6:30 p.m.,  and continuing seven Wednesday nights at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds, 69 Stillwater Bridge Road, Schaghticoke.
Obedience, agility and general dog care education will be emphasized.
The classes are open to all community residents, cost $50 for the course,  Discounted rates are available for Rensselaer County 4-H members.
Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, parvovirus, distemper and adenovirus (Kennel Cough is strongly suggested).
Participants should not bring their dogs the first night. There will be an overview and orientation the first night as well as checking paperwork for proof of vaccinations, registration and collecting fees.
