Dutch Apple cruises for humane association

“Cruising for Canines Country Style,”  a Dutch Apple Cruises event on Saturday, July 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., benefits the Capital District Humane Association. Boarding is at 4:30 p.m.

Enjoy food, entertainment and Hudson River views on the three-hour cruise.

Hosts are Assemblyman James Tedisco, Mary Song, Chrissy Hearst,  George Hearst III, Donald Metzner, Justin Grimes, Benita Zahn, Dona Frank-Federico, and honorary captain Steve Caporizzo.

Live music will be provided by The Spurs USA, traditional country western music. Catering is by Micosta, farm to table fresh. Cash bar.

Tax-deductible donation is $45 per person. Sponsorship packages are available: Sponsor a pet grooming and enjoy the cruise for two, $150; Sponsor a pet grooming and enjoy the cruise for four, $300; Enjoy a cruise for six, $1,000.

The Capital District Humane Association was formed in response to the serious need for a private animal welfare group to serve the Capital Region of New York state.

It is incorporated and approved by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) of New York City. Members of the Capital District Humane Association (CDHA) are volunteers with many years of experience working with displaced and homeless animals.
