Evenings on the Green at Bethlehem Library

The Bethlehem free summer concert series, Evenings on the Green,  has been entertaining the community for more than four decades. Appropriate for all ages,  the concerts take place on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Bethlehem Public Library, 451 Delaware Ave., Delmar.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pick a spot on the green, then sit, relax and enjoy. Concerts will move indoors if it rains. For information, viist http://www.bethlehempubliclibrary.org/programs/adult/evenings-on-the-green/. 

The Summer 2017 lineup: 
July 5: Casey and Spain. 
This multi-instrumentalist duo will play American and roots music, originals and covers, with an emphasis on high-energy, good-time tunes.

July 12: The Jazz Connection.
Six-piece ensemble will perform jazz standards, ballads and blues from the 1920s to the present.

July 19: Skip Parsons.
Performing since the mid-1950s, Skip and his band play Dixieland and classic early-style jazz.

July 26: Dyer Switch.
Enjoy some hard-driving traditional and original bluegrass and acoustic tunes.

Aug. 2: Three Quarter North.
Local favorite performs bluegrass folk with a country twang.

Aug. 9: Rusticator.
Acoustic band plays energetic mix of originals and sing-along covers.
* Featuring an ice cream social and membership drive at 6:30pm sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
