Fall Festival returns to Five Rivers center

The Five Rivers Environmental Education Center and Friends of Five Rivers are bringing back their Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 16, noon to 4 p.m., for the first time in three years.

Fun for the whole family will be offered at the new $8.9 million visitor center, 56 Game Farm Road, Delmar. See the new building and its green features, as well as hands-on exhibits and displays. All are welcome to the free exploration and celebration of nature.

An electric scooter is available for use on accessible trails for persons with limited mobility. A freedom chair is also available, specifically designed for trail use.

For information, call 518-475-0295 or visit http://www.friendsoffiverivers.org/.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the collaboration between Friends of Five Rivers and the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
