Film at library honors Audubon legacy

A documentary film, “Audubon: John James Audubon and the Birds of America,” will be shown on Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m., at the   Guilderland Public Library, 2228 Western Ave, Guilderland.

The documenary profiles a rare man and the wild creatures he loved. Audubon’s obsessions cost him dearly but his work influenced every generation of nature lovers that came after him – from Thoreau to Teddy Roosevelt. His legacy is as timeless and vital as his art.
