Free Law Day consultations for seniors
Senior Citizens’ Law Day takes place Saturday, Sept. 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Albany Law School, 80 New Scotland Ave., Albany. The free event is offered for Capital Region seniors and their caregivers. Albany Law School professors, attorneys and other experts will conduct workshops throughout the day on topics including Future Care Planning for Adult Disabled Children; Health Care Proxies and Living Wills; Medicaid; Medicare; Powers of Attorney; Putting Your Affairs in Order; Small Estates; Voting; and Trusts, charitable giving, and protecting against scams.
No registration is required for the Nancy M. Sills ’76 Memorial Senior Citizens’ Law Day Lecture and workshop. Attendants receive a free resource guidebook.
