Fundraiser helps mental health charities

A community event to raise funds to prevent suicide, child abuse and domestic violence hosted by the One Life Organization will be held Saturday, July 29, noon to 6 p.m., at Darling Field, Gloversville.
Activities include an arts and crafts show (noon to 4 p.m.), vendors, live music, outdoor games (noon to 6 p.m.), car show (noon to 4 p.m.), food, sports tournaments and appearances by fire and police departments. Meet the Amsterdam Mohawks, 12 to 3 p.m. Lunch/dinner, 3 to 5 p.m., snacks, noon to 6 p.m.
Proceeds go to local mental health charities and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Kids.
Admission is $10.
