Garden tips are friendly to pets, wildlife

Gardening solutions that are friendly to pets and wildlife will be presented  Saturday, April 30, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hewitt’s Gardening Center, Wilton location, 621 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs.

Grow the garden you want without endangering our critters.

Peter Bowden, lifelong gardener, garden columnist and guru at Hewitt’s Garden Centers in the Capital District, will give the presentation.  Several goodies will be given away at the event, including  Hewitt’s Gift Cards, flowering planters and more.

Pre-registration is needed; visit http://www.hewittsgardening.eventbrite.com/. The 518Life Gardening Seminar  is presented by Hewitt’s and the Times Union.
