Geocache challenge at Schodack Island

Come to Schodack Island State Park to kick off the Sara-Cap NYS Parks 2017 Geocache Challenge on May 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Park’s Riverview Pavilion. The park,  located at 1 Schodack Island Way on Route 9J in Schodack Landing, will be loaded with brand new challenge caches, plus new seasonal bonus caches, so make sure your batteries are charged.

 Parking is available within sight of the event coordinates.

Light refreshments will be available to get competitors started, plus 2017 Challenge Passports, and a special Hide and Seek game.

There is a $6 vehicle use fee to enter the park between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Stay for the Summer Strum-In Concert with David Hart from 2 to 3 p.m.
