Golf event benefits home for terminally ill

The second annual golf tournament to benefit the Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia will be held  Aug. 18 at the Mohawk Golf Club, 1849 Union St., Schenectady.

Registration and breakfast at 9:30 a.m. will be  followed at 10:30 a.m. by a shotgun start. Lunch and awards are at 3 p.m.

Cost of $175 per player  will include continental breakfast, golf cart, snacks and lunch. Lunch only is $30.

The Joan Nicole Prince Home, funded through community donations and fundraising events, provides free care to two  terminally ill residents at a time in the last weeks  of life.
