Heart Disease and Stroke: Preventable Killers is the topic of a 518 Healthylife Seminar on Wednesday, May 10, The free event will be held at the Times Union, Hearst Media Center, 645 Albany Shaker Road, Albany. Cardiologist Sulagna Mookherjee, M.D., and neurologist Colum Amory, M.D., both of Albany Medical Center, present risks and symptoms, controls of risk factor, and treatments. Heart disease and stroke are two of the leading causes of death in the United States.
A seminar preview will be held May 5 at 5 p.m. on WNYT, Channel 13, with Benita Zahn.
