Hindu center sessions celebrate Yoga Day

Free yoga sessions will be offered 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at the Hindu Cultural Center, 450 Albany Shaker Road, Colonie, as part of International Yoga Day celebrations.

Two yoga practitioners and instructors will lead the event: Ray Crist, founder of the Jaguar Path who has been trained and initiated in Peru and is based in the Berkshires; and Rita Ajmera, a local certified Yoga instructor from Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Bring your yoga mat, towel and water bottle.

Any donations will benefit the Hindu Cultural Center. Indian vegetarian lunch will be available for purchase.

Registration is requested for lunch planning.
