Holistic fair helps dementia caregivers

A Holistic Health and Wellness Fair for Dementia Care will be held Thursday, April 7, 3 to 7 p.m. at Beacon Pointe Memory Care Community. 1 Emma Lane, Clifton Park.

The fair is free and designed to provide caregivers and persons interested in the topic with education and resources to help them care for themselves and their loved ones with dementia.

The focus is on holistic approaches with professionals providing education, resources, samples and demonstrations. Topics include art therapy, chiropractic practice, essential oils and aromatherapy, massage therapy, music therapy, nutrition, pet therapy, physical and occupational therapy, yoga, reiki and energy healing.
