Ice harvesting program at Olana in Hudson

Learn about 19th-century ice harvesting with environmental educator Fran Martino on Saturday, Aug. 6,  from 3 to 5 p.m. at Olana State Historic Site, Wagon House Education Center, 5720 State Route 9G, Hudson. Admission is $15; all ages are welcome. Ice cream is included.
Find out what life was like without electricity and a refrigerator. To register, visit http://www.olana.org/education/ or call Olana’s Education Department at 828-1872, Ext. 105. Walk-ins are welcome.
