Jazz on Jay summer concerts begin in June

Jazz on Jay, a free afternoon summer concert series, will be held on Thursdays, June 2 through Sept. 1, from noon to 1:30 p.m.,  at the  Jay Street arcade, between State and Franklin streets, Schenectady. The rain site is Robb Alley at Proctors, 432 State St.
The  ElectriCity Arts District, a group dedicated to bringing arts to the streets of Schenectady, will present the concerts. Sponsors include: Schenectady County, MVP Health Care, Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, the ElectriCity Arts District and the Schenectady City Heritage Area.
