Journey Through the Body at Colonie Center

Explore  fascinating facts about the human body in this up close and personal  tour of larger-than-life models in a free two-day event, Journey Through The Body,  at Colonie Center.

On Friday, March 28, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 29, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., this  family health event will present an educational journey to learn about the functions of the human body and ways to lead an active, healthy lifestyle. Learn about how emergency response teams provide care, how music and video games can damage hearing, what skin cancer looks like, and how the  body ages.

Exhibits are located on the upper and lower levels of Colonie Center. NewsChannel 13’s Bob Kovachick and Benita Zahn will broadcast live at 5 p.m. Friday, March 28, from the  site.

The event is coordinated by clinicians at St. Peter’s Health Partners, http://www.sphcs.org/jttb and NewsChannel 13, http://wnyt.com/article/stories/s2980701.shtml/.
