Learn how to plant a hummingbird garden

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County will present the program, “Create A Hummingbird Garden,” on Wednesday, June 22, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Welcome the ruby-throated hummingbird by creating a garden habitat they will love. Learn what flowers, trees and shrubs to plant to attract these flying jewels. Master Gardener Pat Thorne will also share some amazing facts about these incredible little birds.

This program is free to the public and will be held outdoors at the Demonstration Garden at the Robert C. Parker School, 4254 Route 43, Wynantskill (North Greenbush). Rain or inclement weather at the start of the program may cancel it. Limited seating is provided; bring your own lawn chair. For  information, contact Cornell Cooperative Extension at 272-4210 or dhc3@cornell.edu/.
