‘Lessons from Tara’ author at shelter benefit

Spend an evening with best-selling author David Rosenfelt on Friday, July 17, 7 to 10 p.m., at  a fund-raiser presented by Friends of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter at The Inn at Saratoga, 231 Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Admission is $40.

Admission includes: Live music, raffles, light fare from the Inn at Saratoga, cookies from Zest, beverages, cash bar, and a humorous talk by the David Rosenfelt on his experiences rescuing more than 4,000 dogs through “Tara Foundation,” the nonprofit group he started with his wife. Tickets will be sold at the door, seats are limited. One lucky winner’s name will be used in his next book.

David has written a series of mysteries around a dog loving main character and his rescue dog. His latest books are “Who Let the Dog Out?” and “Lessons from Tara.”
