Military archaeology talk in Schuylerville
The American Revolution Round Table (ARRT) of the Hudson and Mohawk Valleys presents a talk, “18th Century Military Archaeology in the Upper Hudson and Champlain Valleys,” by David Starbuck Thursday, Aug. 24, 6:30 p.m., at the Schuylerville Town Hall, 12 Spring St., Schuylerville.
Starbuck is an historical and industrial archaeologist, specializing in the archaeology of America’s forts and battlefields, the archaeology of utopian societies (the Shakers), and the archaeology of medieval and post-medieval sites in Scotland.
Time will be allocated to networking, socializing and to discuss other topics before and after the presentation.
