New Baltimore historian offers farm heritage

New Baltimore Town Historian Ted Hilscher will speak on “Farm Scene Investigation: Hannacroix” on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m.,  at the New Baltimore Town Hall, Greene County Route 51.

The annual local history slide show will offer evidence of “hidden history in plain view” from Hisscher’s travels with camera on the backroads of northeastern Greene County.
Barns, stone walls, livestock tunnels and rural structures will be discussed.
Hilscher will have copies available of the 1976 bicentennial publication, “The Heritage of New Baltimore,” for $25. Admission is free. Visit http://www.townofnewbaltimore.org/.
