One Day U provides four courses in Albany
One Day U is coming to Albany. On Sunday, April 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., four professors are offering a one-day opportunity to experience the joy of lifelong learning.

“The Civil War and Abraham Lincoln: What’s Fact and What’s Fiction,” 9:30 to 10:40 a.m., taught by Louis Masur of Rutgers University, winner of the Clive Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
“Positive Psychology: The Science of Happiness,” 10:55 a.m. to 12:05 p.m., by Catherine Sanderson of Amherst College, rated “Top 300 Professors in America” by Princeton Review.
“Rhapsody in Blue: Gershwin’s Remarkable Masterpiece,” 1:25 to 2:35 p.m., by Orin Grossman of Fairfield University, New York City Mayor’s Awards of Honor for Arts and Culture.
“Behavioral Economics: When Rational People Make Irrational Decisions,” 2:50 to 4 p.m., by Vicki Bogan of Cornell University, Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Lunch is available for purchase fome 12:05 to 1:25 p.m. The event is provided by One Day University and the Times Union.
