Open house celebration at Bedlam Farms

The Spring Bedlam Farm Art Show, Poetry Celebration and Open House  is taking place Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, June 28, noon to 4 p.m., at Bedlam Farm, located just outside the village of Cambridge in Washington County.

A celebration of art and poetry will be featured, with a number of local artists and writers joining the farm regulars for the weekend.

Participants include cartoonist and blogger Rachel Barlow (“Picking My Battles”); batik artist Carol Law Conklin; Jack Metzger, owner of Jack’s Out Back Gallery and Antiques and found object sculptor; George Forss will be shooting portraits; fabric artist Kim McMillan; Karen Heenan, who makes children’s dresses, repurposed tablecloths and linens; mini gardener Fran Welge; and photographer and writer Jon Katz. Poets reading from their works include Mary Kellogg, Doug Anderson, Tom Adkins and Kate Rantilla. The farm’s animals will be available to meet.

The Fall Open House will be held in October on Columbus Day Weekend.
