Polish festival in June at Colonie church
Polish Fest, the Capital District’s largest, will be held June 6, 7, and 8 on the grounds of Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Church, 250 Old Maxwell Road, Latham. Admission for the event, taking place rain or shine, is $3; free, ages 16 and younger.
Music and art will be features in addition to an array of Polish foods, including Kielbasa, hunterstew, cabbage rolls, beet soup, potato pancakes. pierogi dumplings and and array polish desserts.
Music and traditional Polish dances entertain throughout the day. A children’s area with games, face=painting, kids’ snack and fun activities are planned. Inside the hall, Polish craft vendors and more are features.
