Railroad Boys night aids Young Foundation

The band Jim Gaudet and The Railroad Boys will perform a benefit concert on Thursday, May 11, beginning at 7 p.m., at the Italian American Community Center pavillion, 275 Washington Ave.,  Albany. The event is the group’s sixth annual concert to support and benefit the Father Peter G. Young Foundation, which helps people recover from addiction and find jobs and housing. Tickets are $20.

Parking is readily accessible on the lawn next to the  IACC Pavillion.
For information, call Margie Reilly at 518-463-8109 or email: marger@pyhit.org/.

Dinner will be available prior to the concert in the Pavillion from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Railroad Boys present Jim Gaudet’s up-tempo songs with a sound that goes back in time to an old Texas roadhouse. Audience members will want to be singing along and tapping their feet from the beginning to the end.  The band, which includes songwriter Jim Gaudet; guitar, Bobby Ristau Bass; mandolin, Sten Isachsen, and  fiddle, special guest Sara Milonovich, has performed at the Country’s most prestigious Bluegrass festivals from Wintergrass (Seattle), High Mountain Bluegrass Festival (Colorado) and Music City Roots (Nashville) as well as six appearances at Grey Fox, to  name a few.
