Red Cross Totes of Hope help area veterans

The American Red Cross of Northeastern New York Region’s second annual “Totes of Hope” campaign is collecting  personal care items for local veterans in need through Sept. 5.

Donations of new, basic care items, such as socks, shaving cream, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, dental floss, playing cards, disposable razors, fleece throws, and tissues will be collected at  Red Cross offices:

American Red Cross of Northeastern New York: 33 Everett Road, Albany;

American Red Cross Adirondack-Saratoga Chapter: 74 Warren St, Glens Falls;

American Red Cross of the Mid-Hudson Valley: 103 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie.

Personal notes of thanks to veterans who will receive the totes are encouraged.
