Shade perennials topic of Voorheesville talk

“Hosta and Perennials for the Shade Garden” will be the topic of an illustrated program at noon Saturday, July 9,  at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany, 24 Martin Road, Voorheesville.
Rick Goodenough will be presenter.
Participants can visit the 22 gardens behind the building, which are designed and maintained by CCE master gardeners. Plantings include trees and shrubs as well as annuals and perennials.
Local vendors will sell perennials from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Refreshments will be served. The program is co-sponsored by the Upstate New York Hosta Society and the Hudson Adirondack Daylily Society.
