Spring antiques weekend in Schoharie

Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association presents Spring Antiques in Schoharie on Saturday, March 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 22, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Schoharie Central School, 136 Academy Drive, Schoharie, two miles south of Exit 23 off of I-88.

About 100 dealers will sell clocks, stoneware, textiles, furniture, glass, china, silver, gold paintings, vintage clothing, jewelry and collectibles. A country kitchen is on site in the school cafe with homemade chili, macaroni ham and cheese, soup, sandwiches and desserts.

The show is the major fundraiser for the Schoharie Colonial Heitage Association supporting its railroad museum, the 1742 Palatine House, the children’s theater program, the Depot Lane Singers and other ongoing activities.

The second antiques show that the organization sponsors, the Fall Antiques Show,  is Sept. 19 and 20 at the Schoharie Valley Railroad Complex on Depot Lane, Schoharie.

Parking is free. Admission is $7. For information, call show manager Ruth Anne Wilkinson, 518-231-7241; SCHA office, 518-295-7505, or email info@schany.org/.  Visit http://www.upstatevacations.com/.
