Strawberry Fest benefits Patroon Land Farm

A Strawberry Festival to benefit Patroon Land Farm will make its debut on June 17, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Altamont Fairgrounds, Route 146, Altamont. Admission is $8, children 12 and younger, free. 

Featured will be strawberry shortcake, wine tastings, local crafters, bakeries, food vendors, a farm market with local strawberries, pony rides,  a petting zoo, and a birds of prey exhibit. Also planned will be face painting, rock climbing, balloon animals, farm machinery museum, 1890 carriage museum and live music. Free parking is available.

Volunteers are needed – free admission is provided. Patroon Land Farm, 132 Ketcham Road, Voorheesville,  supplies the Regional Food Bank of NENY and its participating agencies with diverse, fresh produce.
