Try curling sport at Albany open house
Get on the ice and try the sport of curling at the Albany Curling Club’s free annual winter open house Friday, Feb. 16, through Sunday, Feb. 18, at the club’s facility, 117 West McKown Road, off Schoolhouse Road, Albany.
Hours are Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Experienced curlers will guide visitors. Participants should wear warm, loose clothing and bring clean sneakers. Those younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Light refreshments will be served.
