‘Victorian Albany’ fashions at Institute
“Well Dressed in Victorian Albany” is an exhibit presented through Feb. 19, at the Albany Institute of History and Art, 125 Washington Ave., Albany.
From walking suits to wedding gowns, the 19th century fashions from the Albany Institute collection reflect the changes in styles during the reign of the British monarch Queen Victoria (1837-1901).
This exhibit offers more than 40 outfits made by home seanstresses as well as professional dressmakers.
