Volunteer at Teresian House Center
Volunteer opportunities for all ages, from youngsters on up, are available at the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext, Albany.
Help is needed including Friendly Visiting, Assisting with Activities Programs, In-house Transportation, Pastoral Care, Country Store Clerk, Cyber Café Clerk, Dietary, Laundry.

Programs are held twice daily at 11 a.m. and at 2 p.m. on each floor of the nursing home and once a week at 6:30 p.m. There are also building-wide events held in St. Joseph’s Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. seven days a week.
Bingo, cards and other games, and music programs, including Big Band standards, need volunteers.
Teresian House Center for the Elderly is a 300-bed, non-profit nursing home served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm and sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.
