Waddle Walk burns calories in Pine Bush

Work off the holiday celebrations during the ninth annual Waddle Walk on Saturday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Pine Barrens East region of the Pine Bush, 195 New Karner Road, Albany. 

The “waddle walk” is a fun way to get outside for some fresh air and vigorous exercise. A 2.6-mile hike over rolling terrain  is open to ages 8 and older. Admission is $3 per person or $5 per family. 

Registration is required; call 518-456-0655. Visit https://albanypinebush.org/. Plan to arrive at least five to 10 minutes before the start of the program to purchase your ticket.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance of the program at the Discovery Center reception desk.

If there is snow, the group will snowshoe 0.9 miles. Snowshoes will be provided to program participants.

Directions to APB Discovery Center: From I-87 take exit 2W (Route 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Route 5 for about two miles then turn left onto Route 155 (New Karner Road). Continue on Route 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
