The Northville Rotary Club’s annual Woodworking & Fine Arts Weekend will be held Friday, July 15, to Sunday, July 17, at the Bradt Municipal Building and Town Park, 412 S. Main St., Northville. Show hours are Friday, 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work from woodworkers, painters, jewelers, photographers, weavers, basket makers, leather workers, potters, and others, will be  available for purchase. More than 60 juried artists and selected fine craftsmen will participate.

Featured artists this year are jewelry designer Kimberly Dolan of Albany and furniture maker Russ Gleaves of Northville.

Dolan  mixes nature’s textures and shapes are used in designs and paired with natural gemstones to create one of kind pieces. She was awarded “Best in Show” at the 2014 Saratoga Art in the Park.

Gleaves has been building furniture with natural materials in the Adirondack Rustic style for over 15 years, from traditional twig-mosaic patterns to contemporary rustic design. Gleaves’ work has  won numerous awards including two “People’s Choice Awards” and a “Best in Show” from the Adirondack Museum Rustic Fair.

Each guest artist has donated a selected piece for the Northville Rotary Club’s distinct silent auction. This year’s raffles include a Raleigh Revenio bike donated by “The Bike Works” in Johnstown,  a kayak and gas card donated by “Fuel ’n’ Food” in Mayfield, and a golf bag and cooler from Saratoga Eagle.

Food and refreshments are available on site prepared by Northville’s Klippel’s Kozy Korner. Look for Northville merchants, galleries and organizations contributing to the weekend offering options just a short walk away throughout the village.
